Message from the Director…
A very significant milestone for St. Philip Neri parish will occur in 2018. Our Catholic Family Life Center will enter into its fifth year of existence! Although the actual anniversary celebration will not be held until the Fall of 2018, the 5th Anniversary Committee is already preparing the festivities.
We would like everyone in the parish to participate in the programs and events provided by the CFLC. Consider encouraging your family and friends to join you.Remember, we are all part of a spiritual family here at St. Philip Neri and the continued growth of the Catholic Family Life Center depends on your invitation to others to become involved.
Pope Francis instituted the World Day of the Poor that was held on November 19, 2017. In support of this, the CFLC entered into an arrangement with the Mother of Mercy House in the Kensington section of Philadelphia where Father Devlin, Father Murphy, and Sister Ann Raymond IHM directly minister to the poor in this area. The Planning Committee members will be packing snack bags each month for this ministry, and you can participate in this project if you are interested. We will keep you informed as this project continues.
REGISTRATION IS DUE BY SUNDAY, JANUARY 28
Register using the form in the catalog or online at www.catholicfamilylifecenter.com. Do you qualify for the Family Plan? Offer to transport a parishioner who does not drive. Invite all of your family and friends to come to the CFLC, and don’t forget to ask your friends from other parishes to join us.
Extend an invitation to those not practicing the faith.
On Fridays, a complimentary dinner is provided for all participants and instructors beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Neri Center.
