DINING WITH DIABETES (A PENN STATE PROGRAM)
Thursdays: Mar. 7, 14, 21, 28; Apr. 4, follow-up Jun. 6

This program is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Taught by a Registered Dietician from Penn State’s Extensionprogram, discussion will be on important numbers that people with diabetes need to know, planning healthy meals, food preparation, physical activity, food demonstrations and tasting, ideas to take home, and information to manage diabetes. A cookbook with all recipes will be given at the end of the last class. There will be a 3-month follow up June 6.
